JOHN FONTANA, PRESIDENT 0F SEMINOLE HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO TAMPA TO DELIVER OPENING KEYNOTE AT FLORIDA GAMING CONGRESS FEBRUARY 26

HOLLYWOOD, FL (February 25, 2013) – John Fontana, president of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tamp, will deliver the Opening Keynote Address at the 8th Florida Gaming Congress, to be held February 25-26, 2013, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

Fontana was first named general manager of the original Seminole Casino Tampa in 1998.  Since then, he has guided multiple expansion and renovation projects at the property, including the opening of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in March, 2004. Fontana serves on the board of directors of the Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling, based in Orlando.  He is the only gaming industry representative to join the Council’s board.

The Florida Gaming Congress is dedicated to presenting multiple viewpoints, ideas and concerns. It features five outstanding panel discussions, including Destination Florida?, The Future of Racetrack Gaming, The View from Wall Street, Gaming and Public Policy, and Internet Gaming in the US. Throughout the conference, a broad array of speakers with varying viewpoints and expertise will shed light on a variety of gaming- and tourism-related issues that are being debated from Tallahassee to Miami. Speakers from government, business and academia will put forth ideas, express concerns and respond to proposals about the future of gaming and tourism in Florida.

Jones, Walker LLP is the presenting sponsor of the two-day event, which begins with an evening cocktail reception on February 25, followed by a full-day of in-depth seminars with outstanding opportunities for networking, professional development and business-to-business discussions.

The Florida Gaming Congress, solely owned and produced by Spectrum Gaming Group (www.spectrumgaming.com), is the premier forum for professionals following the state's rapidly expanding gaming industry, and is a must-attend event for corporate executives, gaming operators, elected officials, regulators, vendors, developers, investors, analysts, and anyone else who is – or wishes to be – involved in Florida's nearly $3 billion gaming industry.

Online registration is still available, or you may register on-site. To learn more about this prominent event, visit www.floridagamingcongress.com. For more information about sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities, contact Brian Sullivan at [email protected].
