Ken George Jr.
SENIOR TRIBAL GAMING ADVISER
Ken George Jr. is an enrolled member of the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin and affiliated with the Mole Lake Sokaogon Chippewa.
George began his gaming career as a Surveillance Operator in 2005 at the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino in Milwaukee and was promoted to a Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commissioner in 2009. As a member of the Gaming Commission, he held the position of Chairman for three terms and Vice Chairman for one term. George is a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps (1987-1995).
George studied Gaming Management at the University of Nevada-Reno. He was a member of the National Tribal Gaming Commissioners and Regulators and Wisconsin Gaming Regulators Association. He is a certified Gaming Commissioner through the National Indian Gaming Association Commissioner certification program and also received the NIGA Bruce Longhorn award for excellence.
George led the strategic planning and update to a new system of internal control for the Forest County Potawatomi gaming properties while Chairman of the Gaming Commission. He is active within the native-American gaming industry and its evolution to new and emerging technologies.
